A pre-order is a statement that says. "I want one of those and I want it this size and shape."
It also sets up an immediate reservation for the creation of your item on our schedule. We call it a "build slot". This build slot is held in your name for a period of 7 days while the final details of your order are worked through and agreed upon.
The pre-order becomes an actual "order" when details of your pre-order are confirmed and, a payment or deposit is received. There are no funds required to enter a pre-order. And, yes, we do accept all major credit cards.
Upon receipt of your pre-order, we will contact you via email or phone and work out the following:
1) The final cost - On pages within the web site that have pre-orders, there is are examples
of costs or price ranges. Perhaps your particular size or shape is slightly different and the cost
varies slightly. You need to know that. From the dimensions you give us in your pre-order, we
will calculate and have those firm costs ready for you.
2) The ship TO: details we need from you so we know where to ship your item to.
3) For some designs there are several choices of finishes, we can discuss that. In the case of
glass top tables, some, have their own glass tops or would purchase glass locally. That is fine.
We will discuss all of this during the pre-order period.
4) Delivery and ship dates are discussed in more detail.
