The unusual colorations of these spalted oak frames is another of the beauties of nature that I have had opportunity to uncover. This material may also be used for cabinet doors and mirrors, also.
The finish is baby smooth to the touch and the joinery is natural and curving. The corner joints are cut to the natural edging of the oak branches. This particular set of frames was about 17 inches Wide by 24 inches Tall.
About 3/8 inch thick and 3 to 4 inches wide.
