Photo (left) is a glass top table called the tangle. Created one piece at a time, by hand and may be formed into any shape; round, ovals, rectangular, etc.
NOTE on conference or large tables. All three of these table styles may be double pedestal bases. The tangle, however, can be formed as one long base.. or two separate pieces for use under a long table top.
Mary's stump table is an example of a single pedestal stump table. It has a flat wood top (not roots) . It is not unusual for me to have stumps large enough to support a 6 to 7 foot round glass. Thus, seating up to 8 comfortably.
