This piece is at the beginning stages of seasoning. A 5 week final seasoning and deinfestation program is needed which entails; hollowing, high temp & chemical treatments ( 4 weeks). About two weeks of continuous shaping and final finishing touches to details is then needed prior to shipping.
This piece is available and has not reached fine finishing stages, yet. Hue ( color ) may be from a creme, to honey or amber, or darker. Your choice.
It is totally seasoned, just out of the kiln and needs only fine finishing. Upon order and determination of tone; It will undergo final setting of tone and 6 to 10 coats of hand rubbed finishes.

The root below is suited to create a root table similar as shown ( photo right ).
It will accommodate a 42 to 55 inch diameter glass top for a coffee table, the cut on this piece will be made apprx. At the black lines of photo, ( left ).
For a dining table, a longer cut would allow for the taller height needed.

Another unique piece suitable for use with or without a glass top.
This is what we call a " flat cut " root. Or stump. Actually cut off at ground level. The piece has some unique hollows that add to it's charm and character.
It measures about 30 to 32 by 35 inches across the top and stands ( in the rough ) at 32 inches. It's height can be leveled to dining table or cut to use as a coffee table depending upon the clients need. This piece will be made to order.

The piece features a junction of four large branches at it's top and four distinct annual ring patterns will appear, in detail as it is finished. Ribbons and patches of burl grain will be seen in it's center.

The piece ( left ) will finish out naturally with a similar tone ( or hue ) as the piece above. It can be made slightly lighter or darker at cleints request.
Cost - This piece would run $4,100 as a dining table. Slightly less for coffee table.
It will easily support a 42 to 55 inch glass top for a coffee table OR we suggest a minimum 55 inch top for a dining table ( allow for foot room ) and up to a 72 inch diameter o round top.
Oval or rectangular tops can work. Contact us with you thoughts on sizes. We will review for footroom allowances and make our suggestions back to you.
