Another table created from the same speci. Tonal colors will be similar.
Photo below was of the same speci. Natural color and tone would be very similar.
This piece can be trimmed as large as 52 inches long by about 40 wide. OR it can be trimmed to about 40 inches diameter.

These actual photos of pieces we have that are still, in the rough, are intended to give you an idea of shape, tone ( color ) and character traits that you might expect. Hope this helps.

I selected this piece because I like the triple hearts, the fact that there will be fine detailed graining towards its center ( top ) , burl, and I like the tapering shape of the sides of this table. The tonal quality of of its top will run from light cream to a light cocoa.

Beginning to cut roots away..
Photo above depicts an area of the top where I have trimmed away down to a depth of leaving separation between the roots ( Blue arrow ) .

OPTION A
This piece can be prepared in that manner, leaving 4 to 5 root separations like above being about 1 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches deep. There is one small hole that would be left, that hole being marked by the red dot above.

OR
OPTION B
The piece can be cut lower ( deeper ), below the root separations
(
blue ) thus leaving most of the table top flat. Or much smaller cracks ( root separations ). They would be cut away.
