Like many new project designs: Debby and I, after discussions, started here, with this rough sketch of what would become a natural root table.
Getting started on the tangle of roots, forming one piece takes skill, and perseverence to achieve the balance and form of a work of art. While, at the same time, the artisan must hold on to the aspect of functionality.
Another progress photo.
"I like to take progressive photo's of a project. It keeps a history for our records and allows the client to see the work. In what is, at times, an impersonal internet world, I think it helps everybody." says Mike
About six weeks later, the work begins to take form of tangled root table. Almost done!
